My Focus & Approach

Alafyah believes in delivering high-quality care with an evidence-based approach to help her patients succeed in their rehabilitation journey.

Alafyah earned her Master’s in Physical Therapy from the University of Brighton in England, where she gained a strong academic foundation alongside a global perspective on healthcare. Her diverse clinical experience across Canada, the United Kingdom, and Africa has fueled her passion for empowering patients and helping them achieve meaningful, long-term outcomes.

Alafyah’s treatment approach combines hands-on manual therapy, individualized corrective exercise, and patient education to address a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries, chronic pain, and activity-related conditions. She is also a certified Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist, providing assessment and treatment for pelvic floor dysfunction, including urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, pregnancy and postpartum concerns, pelvic organ prolapse, and other conditions affecting pelvic health.

Every treatment session is guided by the principles of patience, empathy, and collaborative care. Alafyah is passionate about helping patients regain confidence in their movement, improve their function, and take an active role in their recovery. She is committed to lifelong learning and continues to expand her clinical expertise through advanced post-graduate education.

Outside of the clinic, Alafyah enjoys spending time outdoors, whether hiking in nature, practicing yoga, or traveling to explore new cultures and cuisines.

Alafyah is fluent in Hindi, Urdu, Gujarati, and Arabic.
